The Advanced Diploma of Program Management (RPL Only) is delivered as Individual students – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) only, allowing students to study flexibly alongside work and other commitments.
UNE Partnerships assesses entry on a case-by-case basis. Most students don’t need formal prior qualifications, but some units may require language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) checks, a police/working with children check, or mandatory work placement depending on the course. No. The Advanced Diploma of Program Management (RPL Only) is offered on a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) basis only, meaning it’s designed for experienced program managers who can provide evidence of existing skills and knowledge rather than completing standard coursework.
You’ll need to hold BSB50920 Diploma of Project Management (or a superseded equivalent) OR have two years’ equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in a senior project or program management role, demonstrated through workplace evidence and prior learning.
It’s recommended that students purchase ‘Program Management’ by Michel Thiry (2015) to support their RPL evidence submission.
Certified PMP holders with PMI may be eligible to apply for Professional Development Units on completion, subject to approval and fees.
