Work Placements

Work placements are a core part of VET in Schools program, giving students the opportunity to step into real workplaces and apply what they’re learning. Across a range of certificate qualifications, students gain hands-on exposure, build confidence, and develop a clearer understanding of their chosen career pathways.

For many students, this is their first experience in a professional environment, helping them become more prepared, capable and work-ready.

A Simple Way to Support Your Industry

Hosting a student is a practical and rewarding way for businesses to support local schools while bringing fresh energy into the workplace. Students can assist with day-to-day activities under supervision, while your team benefits from mentoring opportunities and early exposure to emerging talent.

Work placements also help strengthen the connection between education and industry, supporting a pipeline of skilled, job-ready individuals across a wide range of sectors.

Tailored to Each Industry
