Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) Graduation 2018

UNE Partnerships would like to congratulate the 18 successful QAIHC students on the completion of their workshops as part of the Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) course they are studying.

Some of the QAIHC students from the workshops are pictured here with our Academic Director of Medical Administration, Gary Smith.

We wish them all the very best in their future careers.

UNE Partnerships collaborates each year with the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) to provide training to new workers in remote and rural medical centres in Queensland.  The majority of students are Aboriginal people, and often the program is their first adult education and training experience.  In many instances, attending training in Brisbane is their first visit to the city.  This ongoing training builds capacity and capability in Aboriginal medical health services throughout Queensland.
