This contemporary micro-credential has been co-designed with industry and developed with assistance from the NSW Government.

UNE Partnerships has teamed up with the University of New England (UNE) and Supporting and Linking Tradeswomen (SALT) to offer this contemporary micro-credential designed to help you to drive meaningful change within your organisation.

This program has been developed with assistance from the NSW Government through the Western City Parkland Authority (WCPA) and the New Education Training Model (NETM).

This micro-credential will provide you with the knowledge and skills to:

Identify various types of diversity
Articulate the importance and business benefits of diversity in the workplace
Design and implement practical strategies that promote workplace diversity and inclusion
Design and implement practical strategies that sustain diverse and inclusive workplace environments
Contextualise recruitment and staff retention strategies to a specific organisational context

Program Structure

This micro-credential will include two workshops and a range of activities for you to undertake within your workplace. You will be provided with a workbook covering the following topics:

Bias/ Stereotype
Diversity, equality and inclusion in workplaces
Benefits of diversity
Communication
Inclusive work practices
Recruitment
Induction
Training
Feedback
Control (issues and barriers)
Changes in beliefs and attitudes
