Aboriginal Leadership Development and Career Pathways

The Aboriginal Leadership Development and Career Pathways provides an opportunity for all Aboriginal Middle Managers in the Northern Territory Public Service. Participants will choose the learning opportunity that suits them best by attending a Career Planning Session.

Choose from three pathways to suit your career stage and learning preferences.

1. Kigaruk & Lookrukin Aboriginal Leadership Development Program

This pathway is suited to future leaders. You will complete BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management over 18-months, including regular workshops in Darwin.

2. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

This pathway is suited to experienced leaders. You will be able to complete a range of gap assessments and activities where you have less experience in particular areas of leadership and management. You can work towards a full qualification.

3. Short Courses

A range of short courses are available through the Office of the Commissioner for Public Employment.

These short courses are not accredited by ASQA.

  5. Choose the pathway option that is most suitable for you.
